AffordableAnna25 was launched in 2020 – a year that changed many things. What started out as a spontaneous idea to make art tangible again despite distance has developed into a beautiful tradition: Every year at the end of the year, the gallery shows works by the artists it has worked with in the past year or whose projects are coming up in the year ahead.
The concept is simple – and that is precisely why it is so powerful: art should remain accessible. It should give pleasure, inspire, move – and not just take place in museums or galleries, but be allowed to find its place in your own home.
On display are works under 2000 euros – paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and prints. Works that show great things on a small scale, that give us pause, that change spaces and carry moods.
Because art is more than just an object. It is a feeling, a thought, a moment that lasts. It accompanies us through the days, awakens memories, opens up perspectives. Especially now, at the end of the year, when we come to rest and reflect on the past months, art can help us to see new things – and perhaps also to come a little closer to ourselves.
